Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Operations Engineer to join our global team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in operating and maintaining our global Content Delivery Network (CDN). This position involves participation in on-call rotations, ensuring high availability, performance optimization, and responding promptly to operational issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate, maintain, and monitor the global CDN infrastructure.
- Respond to incidents, diagnose issues promptly, and participate in on-call rotations.
- Automate repetitive tasks using scripting and configuration management tools.
- Collaborate closely with network and infrastructure teams for maintenance and enhancements.
- Manage and contribute to infrastructure as code (IaC) repositories using Git.
- Continuously improve monitoring and alerting systems.
Qualifications
- Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting skills.
- Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, SSL/TLS).
- Proficient in Git and Bash scripting.
- Experience in operational on-call duties.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with configuration management tools (Puppet, Ansible, or SaltStack).
- Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana).
- Knowledge of databases like ClickHouse or PostgreSQL.
- Understanding of BGP and related networking protocols.
- Programming ability in Go, Python, or Rust.
